North America Consultation in Denver, Colorado held in June 2012, was aimed to strengthen the EDAN North America Network. The meeting agreed to gather and write theologies of disabilities written by people with significant    disabilities; create a sense of solidarity for people with disabilities in faith communities; promote    and fight for the ordination of people with disabilities; be present and participate actively at ecumenical conferences, denominational gatherings, Association of Theological School (ATS) meetings, etc; develop resources and resource lists that are written by, or at least reviewed and approved by people with disabilities.

The Regional Cordinator and the member of the Reference Group have been taking part in the annual  National Council of Churches of USA Disability Committee meeting  aim was to increase the number of seminaries that have disability ministry issues addressed in their courses; present workshops on spiritual access at secular conferences; while ensuring that they encourage churches in their efforts to include people with disabilities in all aspects of its ministries.
